EULA (End User License Agreement)

This is an agreement between you, the purchaser and licensee, and HIDE Productions | H-4.
By purchasing, or downloading, or installing, or using, or otherwise handling digital typeface software (hereafter fonts) by HIDE Productions designers, you accept the terms of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms, you can not download or request or use any of our products. If you are not the license owner yourself but act as a payment facilitator or purchaser of the fonts/softwares on behalf of the license owner, you have to ensure that the license owner accepts and complies with this exact EULA.

You are granted one (1) license to use the font software on a certain number of devices within your organization. You are not receiving the copyright to the design or any other part of the fonts, but the rights to use the fonts as specified in this agreement. “Within your organization” means usage inside your company or organization, and shall not include usage by clients or other third parties. This license allows you to use the fonts on any number of computers within your organization.
You may not modify the fonts in any case (except asking us for permission to do so). You may not commission a third party to modify the fonts. We do offer full customization service to all of our typefaces, from just a few glyphs to whole families. Please contact us with your request and we will send you a price quote for the job.

You may not distribute, lend, rent, sell, give away, publicly or privately share any modified or unmodified version of the fonts.
It is prohibited to use the fonts in any context promoting non renewable resources and/or actively working against nature conservation and the wellbeing of our planet and future generations. It is prohibited to use the fonts in any racist, homophobic, sexist or in general discriminating and hateful context. If you purchase a license for a project for any of the fields stated in this paragraph, you are not allowed to use the fonts, and you are not receiving a refund.
If you do experience any difficulties with our fonts, we will look into the problem and hopefully send you a fixed version immediately. Unfortunately we can’t give you a refund. Any usage of the fonts are at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the font files work perfectly on every platform, operating system etc.

All purchases are final. We do not offer any refunds or exchanges for other font files. Please place your orders carefully.

Ownership

Typeface license should be owned and also paid for by the company for which the fonts are being use. With this understanding, a designer can be the facilitator, the purchaser, or the user of a font license. A designer may purchase a typeface license on behalf of a client, but it is the client who is the owner of that license.

HIDE | H-4 shall at all times retain ownership of the typeface(s) as originally downloaded by the licensee.

A Designer can not purchase a Typeface License on behalf of one Client and use it for another.

Different entities commissioning a designer must have their own, separate font licenses according to the specific use cases of their brands.

As a license owner, your font license covers your own company and one initial subcontractor (but, as license owner, you can use the font(s) for personal purposes without limitations).

Files and licenses

There are three kind of licenses available: personal, commercial and corporate.

For every kind of license all the previous specifications are valid. The substantial difference is that purchasing a commercial or corporate license you have the right to use the font(s)/software(s) for professional activities and for profit.

In every case you should specify that you are not the author of the font and, if needed, specify the source and/or mention the author of the font.

Font files are provided in OTF or TTF formats. The given typeface may be converted to other formats such as SVG, as long as the font is not modified in any other way, such as changing names or altering individual glyphs, side bearing or kerning, coding, etc.

Personal: you can use the font files for your projects, brands or any other kind of works made by you for yourself. You cannot include a typeface purchased with a personal license in any profitable work, whether it is for a customer or a friend. If you plan to sell personal works that include one of our typefaces, a commercial license is needed.

Commercial: you can use font files for a customer (as specified before – a (1) license is valid for a single (1) customer, and the final client will be the owner of the license purchased by the designer) or for other profitable works, for example selling a t-shirt, a CD or anything else with an inscription printed on it made with one of our fonts.

Corporate: if your (or client’s) profit company needs one of our typefaces for recurring or transversal projects or intends to use our typeface(s) as a logo or wordmark, a corporate license is needed. This license grants to the final client the full usage of our typeface (however respecting the limitations and obligations specified in the other parts of the agreement) for multiple or recurring projects which may or may not have commercial purposes. For corporate licenses, contact us at info@h-4.digital

Logo Licenses

If the typeface(s) are used in the logo or wordmark of the license owner’s profit company, you must purchase a corporate license and contact us to verify that the attributions and credits have been made correctly.

If the typeface(s) are used in the logo or wordmark of the license owner’s non-profit company or project, you must purchase a commercial license and contact us to verify that the attributions and credits have been made correctly.

Warranty

ln no event will H-4 | HIDE be liable to the licensee for any consequential or incidental damages, including any lost revenue, profits, goodwill or savings, or for any claim by any third party.

Any use of H-4 | HIDE fonts that may result in harm, death, injury, property or environmental damages is not permitted. This includes the service of custom naming our fonts.

The licensee agrees that fonts created and/or distributed by H-4 | HIDE, their design, structure, organization, encoding, and all their copies, are owned by and valuable intellectual property of HIDE Productions and their designers and protected under France law, by the copyright and trademark laws of other countries, and by international treaties.

Fonts are not warranted to operate on all computer operating systems. H-4 | HIDE is not responsible for operating system errors or inoperability faults.

Termination

This License Agreement is effective as of the date of full payment for the adequate license. This license agreement may be terminated by the licensee at any time by destroying the typeface(s) together with any printed material and all copies of the typeface(s). lt will also terminate immediately if the licensee fails to comply with any term of this EULA agreement. Upon such termination, the licenses granted by this EULA agreement will immediately terminate and the licensee agrees to stop all access and use of the typeface(s). The provisions that by their nature continue and survive will survive any termination of this EULA agreement. H-4 | HIDE reserves the right to update this agreement at any time without prior consent, notice or permission.

Any breach of this agreement immediately voids and annuls the complete license and any rights to use the fonts.

By using the given Typeface you agree that you read this EULA and to the terms stated.
